"Optimize your business opportunities in the data-economy"

The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology is organizing a 3-day Executive Education seminar on January 21, 22 and 22, 2020, at the Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg. It will focus on business opportunities in the data-economy.

The Jack Welch College of Business & Technology (JWCoBT) in Luxembourg (part of Sacred Heart University), established since 1991, constantly updates its Master programs to address the needs of the local economy. With the aim to help the country support its strategy and the vision of offering its students the best education, this collaboration between the Ministry of the Economy and the JWCoBT has been established in November 2019. It is therefore that we have decided to offer higher education in the field of the data-economy.

What is the Data Economy Concept?

Research is showing that more and more companies are using data and analytics to generate additional growth. Organizations’ core businesses and industry competition will be reshaped by the influence of data & analytics. Firms face a new challenge and do need to quickly understand the power of data and take the necessary actions to implement a data-driven business.

"This initiative is perfectly in line with our focus on technological and digital innovation. The new name of our College (Business & Technology) signals the University’s affirmed commitment to the systemic integration of technology into business education," highlights Martha J. Crawford, Dean of the JWCoBT and Former Senior Vice President of Research & Development (Air Liquide, Areva and L’Oréal).

Who is The Data-Economy Seminar for?

This 3-day program is tailored for decision makers across sectors, for CEOs and for Board members; it aims at helping business leaders and executives tackle the data-economy challenge, specifically in Luxembourg.
