IRIS, a member of the Canon Group, European leader in Information Management, is pleased to announce that the company has received the IBM Outstanding Watson Award 2016 on the occasion of “IBM Night of the Stars” gala dinner organized by IBM.
The IBM awards are a major recognition from IBM to reward its partners and recognize their exceptional performance and collaboration over the previous year. They reward in-depth knowledge and expertise in the various IBM hardware, software and service divisions.
At this year’s Night of Stars, IRIS has been called on stage three times: as Platinum Business Partner, the highest level in the IBM partner program, for its nomination as Best Cloud Partner of IBM and to receive the IBM Outstanding Watson Award 2016. An impressive recognition of the strong partnership that links the two companies.
Bart Windal, Enterprise Unit Executive for BeLux at IBM, explains the reason why IRIS has won this award: "In 2016, IRIS was the first IBM Business Partner to certify for Watson in Luxembourg. They have prioritized this investment to strengthen their ECM strategy with the data analytics capabilities offered by Watson offerings. The decision has proven to be correct. They have closed and implemented an innovative Watson Explorer project."
Rick Gruijters, Director Business Strategy EIM at IRIS, adds: “In times where technology is evolving faster than organizations can adapt, precise allocation of resources and budgets is required to make the largest impact. IRIS continues to invest in knowledge in order to guide our customers (or partners as we like to see them) in this digital evolution. The IBM award for our Watson activities is a great confirmation of our mission to take every organization to the next level in digitization.”
