It is now official, the leading startup accelerator programme Fit 4 Start is back for a 13th edition. The Ministry of the Economy, in collaboration with Luxinnovation, initially launched this programme back in 2015 so as to boost promising digital, tech- and data-driven ventures.
Set in Luxembourg, the Fit 4 Start Programme shines globally as it aims to attract innovative projects or young innovative start-ups, regardless of where they are based. The objective is to ensure these breakthrough projects commercial success, so they can reach national and global markets. For this, the programme encompasses “intensive coaching, attractive pre-seed funding and access to key networks that help [entrepreneurs] succeed with launching their business venture and scaling it on the European market”.
Fit 4 Start is dedicated to digital, tech- and data- ventures specializing in IoT, blockchain, big data, AI, machine learning, robotics, cyber, telecom, open-source technology and/or emerging technologies. There is also a track for healthtech startups which operate for instance in digital therapeutics, digital diagnostics, remote monitoring or car, medical devices and in vitro diagnosis.
Hence, the official announcement for the 13th edition means that the call for applications is open, and this until September 19. The Fit 4 Start jury will then proceed with a pre-selection. Following this, the pre-selected startups will pitch their respective project in front of the jury, during the Arch Summit on October 26 and 27. The winners will enjoy the programme from December 2022 to May 2023.
