Bill Limond in attendance at Halian-Ageris training

Halian, in conjunction with Ageris Training, will be hosting a workshop for senior decision makers in Luxembourg on 4 December, 2015. The workshop will centre around “Consideration of the Human Factor in ISS Risk Management” and how to safeguard your business.

Today more than ever, CIOs and CISOs have extremely high technical knowledge. However, consequential damages of ISS risk on organisations are still very important, and unfortunately, still all too common. The objective of this workshop is to help attendees formalise a structured approach to reduce the element of risk as much as possible.

In addition to other industry leaders, one CIO heavyweight, Bill Limond, will be in attendance. Bill has over 20 years’ of board-level Business Development, Change Programme, and IT experience as CIO, Group IT Director, and Change Programme Director in both the public and private sectors with companies such as BP, British Gas, BAE Systems, Pilkington, City of London, LU, and the Audit Commission.

Bill is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, holds a Geophysics PhD from Cambridge, and has most recently completed 2 successful ‘hands-on’ stints in the Health sector. As CIO for the Qatar National Health Insurance Company, he established and ran the new Qatar National Health Insurance programme and systems, from scratch. In his prior CIO role, he also recovered an ailing IT department at the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the globally-renowned and European lead institute.

Acting as an Interim Executive CIO and Programme Manager for the past 13 years, Bill has stepped into the Non-Executive Director role at Halian last year, and his advice and experience have proved invaluable.

Bill will be on hand to network and share his experiences one-on-one with other attendees. For more information about attending this training, please click here.
