An entire week of events dedicated to cybersecurity will take place next October

The 1st edition of the Cybersecurity Week has gathered more than 2000 people. Public and private players have shown their commitment and determination to work together for a secure digital (r)evolution. The second edition will take place from October 15th to October 20th.

Cybersecurity is among the greatest challenges of the digital economy, increasingly emerging every day as a field with high potential in terms of new skills, jobs and growth.

The Grand Duchy has been considering this area as an opportunity for economic growth for over 15 years. This approach was further strengthened in the governmental Digital Lëtzebuerg initiative, as well as the announcement, in October 2016, of a competence center on cybersecurity.

This 2nd edition will be carried by SECURITYMADEIN.LU, under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Economy. The Cybersecurity Week is organized in the framework of the European Cybersecurity Month (ECSM), an annual advocacy campaign organized by the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) and the European Commission to promote cybersecurity internationally.

The Cybersecurity Week – Luxembourg (#cswl) will allow participants to:

1. Gain visibility at a local and international level

2. Join a highly regarded event in European cybersecurity

3. Meet investors, startups, leaders and experts.

The Cybersecurity protagonists in Luxembourg can still take the opportunity to organize their event under the Cybersecurity Week umbrella by becoming a sponsor.

The various events will take place in different locations in Luxembourg. More information: www.cybersecurityweek.lu
