Since its creation, the world of FinTech has seen tremendous innovations disrupt the world of finance. In 2017, Europe FinTech funding grew over 120%, VC-backed companies also saw an increase in the US while Asian funding fell for the first time in four years. On the second day of ICT Spring, finance and technology specialists met again in Kirchberg, located at the very heart of Luxembourg, to share their knowledge and discuss FinTech trends and best practices. The morning session focused mainly on innovation in payments, ranging from mobile to blockchain, with a long discussion around the latest PSD2 regulation.

On the first morning of ICT Spring, local and international experts gathered to discuss the latest FinTech trends. Deutsche Börse partners with Finologee & figo to launch FinTech Acceleration platform
Deutsche Börse Group and its post-trade services provider Clearstream will partner with Germany-based FinTech figo and Luxembourg-based RegTech start-up Finologee to create a common FinTech Acceleration Platform. The launch is targeted for the fourth quarter of 2018, subject to regulatory approval.

La FinTech britannique, âgée de 3 ans, vient de boucler un tour de table de 250 millions de dollars sur base de sa valorisation, estimée à 1,7 milliard de dollars. La startup fondée par Nikolay Storonsky est ainsi la première néobanque d'Europe à devenir une licorne.
