Les attaques malveillantes représentent 80% des sinistres cyber en Europe en 2020
Selon un rapport publié par Marsh, premier courtier en assurances et conseiller mondial en risques, en partenariat avec Microsoft, le cabinet d'avocats international CMS et Kivu, une entreprise mondiale en cyber sécurité, les incidents cyber malveillants ont représenté 80 % des sinistres cyber en Europe continentale l'année dernière, contre 70 % en 2019. Les attaques par ransomware représentaient 32% des sinistres cyber en 2020 – soit plus du double de ce qui a été enregistré pour la période 2016-2020 (14 %). Dans l'ensemble, les sinistres en cyber en Europe continentale ont augmenté de 8% en 2020.
